Meaning : The Shami tree cleanses sins. Its thorns are reddish in colour. It is Lord Rama’s favourite tree and in such a tree Pandavas hid their arms. O Shami, Lord Rama has worshipped you. I now embark upon my journey to victory. May you make it pleasant and free from obstacles.

Arrival of Goddess Durga in USA
In USA the 1st day of Navratri is on Tuesday, so the arrival of goddess Durga is on Horse, It symbolises that there will be war between kings (ie. Nations in todays context). There will be destruction and social unrest in the society and political instability as well.
Departure on Doli:

If Goddess Durga comes or goes in a Planquin (Doli), then that very year many people will die due to different reasons like war, disaster etc. It also warns mankind that they have to unite and help each other in the coming epidemic otherwise results will be very dangerous.
Arrival of Goddess Durga in India
In India, the 1st day of Navratri is on Wednesday, so the arrival of goddess Goddess Durga arriving or leaving on a boat symbolises that she will bless you with all the resources that you need to fulfill your desires. It indicates good harvest and floods as well.
